Summary
Combined pharmacopuncture (Shinbaro) and electroacupuncture were administered for 4 weeks to 72 patients with sciatica, and pain (VAS), lower extremity radicular pain (SLR angle), and functional disability (ODI) were evaluated. VAS decreased by 65%, SLR angle increased by an average of 25 degrees, and ODI improved by 52%.
