Summary
Twelve randomized controlled trials evaluating the effect of Korean medicine cosmetic treatment (acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, thread embedding) for neck wrinkle improvement were meta-analyzed. The neck wrinkle improvement rate of the Korean medicine treatment group was significantly higher than controls at OR 2.84 (95% CI: 1.92-4.21).
