A meta-analysis of 16 RCTs evaluating the effect of Korean medicine treatment (herbal medicine, acupuncture, chuna) for avascular necrosis of the femoral head. Data from 1,043 patients showed significantly higher Harris Hip Scores in the Korean medicine treatment group compared to controls.
