Summary
A randomized controlled trial comparing Korean medicine combined treatment (acupuncture, chuna, herbal medicine) with conventional physical therapy for 10 weeks in 104 patients with work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD). The Korean medicine group showed a 59% reduction in VAS pain scores, significantly different from the physical therapy group (37%). Return-to-work rate was also higher in the Korean medicine group at 82% versus the physical therapy group (64%).
