Summary
A meta-analysis analyzing the effect of combined herbal medicine and electroacupuncture treatment in male patients with CPPS (NIH Category IIIA/IIIB). Eleven randomized controlled trials (total 789 subjects) were included, and the combined herbal medicine-electroacupuncture group showed an average NIH-CPSI total score reduction of 12.3 points, significantly superior to the drug alone group.
