Summary
Seventy-two patients with acute cervical sprain were single-blind randomly assigned to chuna therapy and sham chuna control groups. Immediately after single treatment, VAS pain scores decreased by an average of 2.7 points in the chuna therapy group, significantly greater than the control group (0.8 points), with immediate ROM improvement also shown.
