Summary
Ninety-eight frozen shoulder patients were assigned in a double-blind manner to a Dokhwalgisaeng-tang or placebo group and treated for 8 weeks. The herbal medicine group showed significant ROM improvement, with particularly large differences in external rotation (23.6 degrees vs 14.2 degrees) and internal rotation (18.9 degrees vs 11.3 degrees).
