Summary
Forty-seven patients with psoriasis comorbid with psoriatic arthritis underwent herbal medicine (modified Dokhwalgisaeng-tang) and acupuncture treatment for 16 weeks, followed up for 24 weeks. The Korean medicine treatment group showed significant decreases in PASI, joint tender count, and CRP levels. Concurrent improvement of skin and joint symptoms was characteristic.
