Summary

Twenty-four RCTs (total 2,018 patients) evaluating Korean medicine treatment effects for post-traffic accident sequelae (musculoskeletal pain, headache, dizziness, etc.) were meta-analyzed. The Korean medicine treatment group showed an average 2.8-point additional VAS pain reduction compared to controls, with treatment response rates of 87%, significantly higher than Western medicine alone (68%). Time to daily life return was also shortened by an average of 12 days.
