Summary
A randomized controlled trial comparing Korean medicine rehabilitation (acupuncture + moxibustion + herbal medicine + Doin exercise) versus general rehabilitation over 12 weeks in 84 patients with thoracolumbar compression fracture (stable type) after traffic accidents. The Korean medicine rehabilitation group showed 61% VAS reduction, superior to the general group (38%), with bone density recovery speed 1.4-fold faster. Oswestry Disability Index improved by 54%, accelerating daily functional recovery.
