Summary
Fourteen studies analyzing nerve conduction study changes before and after acupuncture in carpal tunnel syndrome patients were meta-analyzed. Median nerve motor conduction velocity and sensory conduction velocity significantly improved after acupuncture.
Key figures
Nerve conduction velocity improvement rate
23%
Total participants
876 patients
Conclusion
