Children often cannot describe pain accurately. Even if your child seems fine right after an accident, changes such as fussiness or loss of appetite may appear days later.
Warning signs after a pediatric traffic accident
- Becomes more fussy or irritable than usual
- Decreased appetite or changes in sleep patterns
- Avoids certain postures or moves less
- Complains of headache or dizziness
Unlike adults, children are still growing, so postural imbalance caused by an accident can affect their development. Please have your child examined by a Korean medicine doctor as soon as possible after an accident.
