Twelve RCTs evaluating the effect of combined herbal medicine and acupuncture for lumbar spondylolisthesis were meta-analyzed. The combined treatment group showed significant effects in pain reduction (SMD: -1.23) and functional improvement (SMD: -0.89) compared to Western medicine monotherapy.
