Fourteen clinical trials (1,078 subjects total) were meta-analyzed to evaluate the effects of Korean medicine treatment (herbal medicine, acupuncture) for pediatric otitis media with effusion. The Korean medicine group demonstrated significantly higher effusion resolution rates compared with controls.
