Summary
Twenty-two articles on Korean medicine treatment (acupuncture, herbal medicine, auricular acupuncture) for persistent tinnitus after chronic otitis media were narratively reviewed. In most studies, acupuncture utilizing peri-aural acupoints (Ermen, Tinggong, Tinghui) and herbal medicines such as Ironggojadan-tang were effective for tinnitus alleviation.
