Summary
Sixteen clinical studies (1,234 subjects total) evaluating Korean medicine treatment (herbal medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture) for nasal polyps were meta-analyzed. The Korean medicine group demonstrated an average 32% reduction in polyp size, with herbal medicine administration for postoperative recurrence prevention showing significantly lower recurrence rates (11%) compared with controls (28%).
