Summary
Eighty patients with chondromalacia patella were randomly assigned to bee venom pharmacopuncture and regular acupuncture treatment groups and treated for 8 weeks. Anterior knee pain improvement was significantly superior in the bee venom pharmacopuncture group, and stair climbing function also recovered faster.
