Summary
Eleven RCTs evaluating the effect of cupping treatment for cervical pain with myofascial pain syndrome were meta-analyzed. Cupping treatment significantly increased pressure threshold of trigger points (SMD=0.78) and decreased VAS pain scores (SMD=-0.92).
