Summary
Two hundred forty patients with acute Bell's palsy were recruited from 5 Korean medicine hospitals, and combined acupuncture-herbal medicine treatment was compared with steroid alone. After 12 weeks, House-Brackmann grade complete recovery rate was significantly higher in the combined treatment group.
