Summary
A pre-post comparison study in which Korean medicine combined treatment combining acupuncture, herbal medicine, and relaxation therapy was administered for 8 weeks to 56 panic disorder patients. PDSS (Panic Disorder Severity Scale) decreased by 58% compared with pre-treatment, and panic attack frequency decreased from 4.2 to 0.8 times per week.

Conclusion
Korean medicine combined treatment significantly reduces the frequency and severity of panic disorder attacks and can be utilized as an adjunctive treatment strategy to reduce drug dependence.
