Summary
Sixty-six patients with chronic eczema were randomly assigned to herbal medicine fumigation or general moist compress groups and compared over 6 weeks. The fumigation group showed significant improvements in EASI scores, skin hydration, and pruritus scores. Fumigation treatment showed dual effects of promoting transdermal drug absorption and increasing skin blood flow.
