Seventy-four patients with nocturnal bruxism were randomly assigned to herbal medicine (Sanjoin-tang) or botox injection groups. Both groups showed bruxism frequency reduction, but the herbal medicine group was superior in sleep quality improvement, while the botox group was superior in masseter volume reduction.
