Summary
Fourteen RCTs evaluating the combined effect of tonifying herbal medicine and exercise in osteopenic women were meta-analyzed. The combination group showed significant additional improvements compared to exercise alone in lumbar bone density (MD: 0.034 g/cm²) and femoral bone density (MD: 0.021 g/cm²).
