Yes, inpatient treatment at Korean medicine clinics is covered by health insurance. Acupuncture, cupping, chuna and other Korean medicine treatments received during hospitalization are also covered. For traffic accidents, auto insurance applies. The exact patient share will be explained at your visit.

Are there extra fees because it's a single room?

No. Geummaek's single hospital rooms have no separate premium room fee. You can receive comfortable treatment in a private space at the same cost as multi-bed rooms, with privacy guaranteed.

Are traffic accident hospitalizations also processed through auto insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Korean medicine clinic hospitalization is also processed via auto insurance personal injury claims. Hospital fees, herbal medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and chuna treatment are all covered by the insurance company, so there is no out-of-pocket cost.

How long is a typical hospital stay?

Stay length varies by patient condition. For mild conditions, 1–2 weeks of intensive inpatient treatment followed by outpatient care is common. For severe conditions or stays beyond 2 weeks, long-term hospitalization is available. For traffic accidents, stay length depends on the injury status.

What facilities are in the hospital room?

Each single private room is equipped with TV, Wi-Fi, and bedding. Netflix and various books are available for a comfortable stay during hospitalization.

Can I go out during hospitalization?

After consulting with your attending Korean medicine doctor, going out is possible if there is a valid reason. However, you must remain in the room during treatment hours to maximize treatment effectiveness.
