A randomised controlled trial examining the effect of a smoking cessation programme combining auricular acupuncture and herbal medicine has been reported.

Stopping smoking is the part that acts most directly on cough, phlegm and declining lung function. Going together while receiving treatment is the better course.

You can also use a public health centre smoking cessation clinic or the smoking cessation treatment support scheme. There is no problem combining them.
