Cost & Insurance

Once a bodily-injury claim is filed, accident-related treatment costs are in principle covered by auto insurance. Depending on the fault ratio, however, some out-of-pocket cost can arise, and the covered scope and period are defined, so we cannot promise there will be none at all. Please keep receipts for treatment received before the claim is filed.

Q. I have had an accident — in what order should I handle it?

A.

File it with the insurer and bring the claim number. You can be treated even before you have the number.

📝 Detailed Answer

When you file the accident with the other party's insurer (or your own), a bodily injury claim number is issued. Just tell us the insurer's name and the claim number.

Even if the claim number has not yet been issued, you can be treated. Tell us once the number comes through, and reception will guide you through the procedure.

Even for a minor accident, if you have symptoms we recommend filing it. Pain commonly appears several days later.

If the insurer restricts or refuses treatment, please tell us. We will advise on the procedure.
