Chuna Therapy

Chuna addresses alignment and muscle tension; herbal medicine addresses the internal state. We do not recommend Chuna for tonic purposes alone — it is a treatment performed when there is a musculoskeletal problem. It is not performed, or is limited, in osteoporosis, a history of compression fracture, recent fracture, previous spinal surgery, or pregnancy.

Q. What is the effect of combining tonic herbs with Chuna?

A.

Chuna therapy aligns the structural balance of spine and joints, while tonic herbs strengthen internal organs and qi/blood — together they synergistically restore body balance. Especially effective for those with both chronic fatigue and posture imbalance.

📝 Detailed Answer

They address different things. Chuna looks at alignment and muscle tension; herbal medicine looks at the state within.

However, we do not recommend Chuna for a tonifying purpose alone. Chuna is a treatment performed when there is a musculoskeletal problem. Where your back or neck is uncomfortable and your stamina has also declined, we proceed with both — not because 'doing them together is better'.

For the following we lower the strength or do not perform it: osteoporosis, a history of vertebral compression fracture, a recent fracture, a history of spinal surgery, and pregnancy.

It is better to do only what is needed.
