Acupuncture & Pharmacopuncture
Acupuncture
Many patients receive both. Herbal medicine works from within while acupuncture works locally, so the two approach from different directions and combining them makes sense when there are several things to address. If one is enough, we do not add more.
Cupping & Physical Therapy
Cupping Therapy
Yes, restorative herbal formulas and cupping complement each other. Cupping relaxes muscle tension and improves circulation, helping the herbal formula be absorbed and take effect more readily.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal Medicine
There is no set season for it — take it when you need it. If you have no symptoms and feel fine, there is no need to take it at all. If you have weight loss, recurring fever or fatigue lasting several months, internal medicine tests come before a restorative formula.
Chuna Therapy
Chuna Therapy
Chuna addresses alignment and muscle tension; herbal medicine addresses the internal state. We do not recommend Chuna for tonic purposes alone — it is a treatment performed when there is a musculoskeletal problem. It is not performed, or is limited, in osteoporosis, a history of compression fracture, recent fracture, previous spinal surgery, or pregnancy.
Cost & Insurance
Cost & Insurance
The cost of a restorative formula depends on the type of prescription and how long it is taken. Pill preparations such as Gongjindan and Gyeongokgo differ in price from custom decoctions; we explain the exact cost once the prescription is decided after pulse diagnosis.

For follow-up visits, if remote consultation is possible the medicine can be delivered by courier. The eligible cases and conditions are set by regulation and the criteria can change, so please call to check. In summer, refrigerate on arrival and do not take a pouch that is swollen or smells different.
