Chuna Therapy

Chuna addresses alignment and muscle tension; herbal medicine addresses the internal state. We do not recommend Chuna for tonic purposes alone — it is a treatment performed when there is a musculoskeletal problem. It is not performed, or is limited, in osteoporosis, a history of compression fracture, recent fracture, previous spinal surgery, or pregnancy.

Q. I'm physically weak — is Chuna safe for me?

A.

Yes — treatment intensity is adjusted to your strength and condition. In fact, those with weak strength benefit more when tonic herbs supplement energy alongside Chuna correcting posture, leading to better recovery.

📝 Detailed Answer

If your stamina is weak we perform it with the strength and the duration adjusted. We do not push ahead beyond what you can take.

However, there are cases where we do not perform it or restrict it greatly: osteoporosis, a history of vertebral compression fracture, a recent fracture, having had spinal surgery or a fusion, long-term steroid use, and pregnancy. Among those whose stamina is weak, it is not rare for osteoporosis to be present too, so we check that particularly.

If you become dizzy or find it hard during the procedure, please tell us at once.

Looking first at the cause of the decline in stamina is the order. If you are losing weight or the fatigue has continued for months, we recommend internal medicine testing.
