Acupuncture & Pharmacopuncture
Acupuncture
Yes. Acupuncture stimulates points around the ear, nose and throat to ease inflammation and improve circulation. In rhinitis, tinnitus and sore throat, combining it with herbal medicine can bring faster symptom improvement.
Cupping & Physical Therapy
Cupping Therapy
Yes. Cupping on the back and neck strengthens lung function and immunity, which helps ease rhinitis symptoms. It is more effective combined with acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal Medicine
For acute symptoms we recommend 2 to 4 weeks, and for chronic rhinitis, tinnitus or globus sensation 2 to 3 months. Where constitutional improvement is also the aim, taking it periodically at each change of season is effective in preventing recurrence.
Chuna Therapy
Chuna Therapy
The cervical spine is the passage through which the vessels and nerves to the ear, nose and throat run. When cervical alignment is off, circulation and nerve signalling are impeded and tinnitus or rhinitis worsens. Correcting the cervical spine with Chuna therapy helps improve symptoms.
Cost & Insurance
Cost & Insurance
Korean medicine procedures such as acupuncture, cupping and Chuna are covered by health insurance. For allergic rhinitis, herbal prescriptions can also be covered, which lowers the cost. Other herbal formulas are not covered, but private indemnity insurance may reimburse them in some cases.

If hearing suddenly drops in one ear, it may be sudden sensorineural hearing loss and treatment must begin within days.
