Forty-seven studies published in the past 10 years were analyzed, and herbal medicine and acupuncture combination showed superior effects to single treatments. The evidence level of low-frequency electroacupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and moxibustion treatment was gradually improving.

A randomized controlled trial evaluating the effect of electroacupuncture treatment in 64 men with premature ejaculation (IELT <2 minutes). After 8 weeks of electroacupuncture treatment at Hoeeum and Junggeuk acupoints, IELT significantly extended from an average of 1.3 minutes to 4.7 minutes, and PEDT scores also improved significantly.
