Fifty-four BPPV patients with residual dizziness persisting more than 2 weeks after canalith repositioning received Banhabaekchulcheonma-tang for 4 weeks. DHI scores decreased by an average of 52%, with complete residual dizziness resolution rate reaching 74%. Gait stability (TUG) also improved significantly.

Banhabaekchulcheonma-tang is effective for rapid resolution of residual dizziness after BPPV canalith repositioning.

One hundred eight patients aged 65 or older with chronic vertigo were assigned to vestibular rehabilitation monotherapy or rehabilitation plus Jinmu-tang combination groups for 8 weeks of treatment. The combination group demonstrated a 56% reduction in DHI, significantly superior to monotherapy (38%), with greater improvement also in fall fear (FES-I).
